Trolley Bags Original Pastel are a system of four reusable shopping bags that are used to pack your shopping at the supermarket checkout. The Original set are the ideal size to fit the large, deep trolleys for the big weekly shop.
The first ever Trolley Bags is a four-bag set with half mesh bottom called the Original. Designed in our pastel colour way featuring softer tones of yellow, blue, green, and grey, which not only look very eye-catching, but they also serve a purpose. Long gone are the days where you chuck whatever comes at you first into any old bag, now you can pack your shopping organised and efficiently into colour-coded bags. You can use the blue bag for freezer products, the red for fridge items, green for cupboard items, and the orange for household products or however you see fit. Each durable bag can hold up to 15kg of shopping.

How do they work?
In one simple action the Trolley Bags system spreads out and rests on the deeper supermarket trolleys, giving you a series of open and upright bags into which you can pack and sort your shopping with both hands. The bags attach and separate via Velcro so you can transport them easily to and from the car. Watch the how-to video here.

I have a set of the deep trolley bags the number 4 bag has split on the grey material in 2 places, is there any strong tape i could use to mend them. These bags are the best idea ever otherwise.

Being almost 80 I chose the small version of the trolley bags and found that are just the right size for the weekly shopping and they are not to heavy to handle into an out of the car.. They certainly save time at the checkout and attract quite a lot of attention. Note I first saw the trolley bags being used at a supermarket in Cyprus,

So much quicker getting through the checkout! And only 4 bags to carry into the house as they hold so much more than standard bags. Only niggle is on the set of bags I bought for my mum (shallower ones – for the smaller trolleys) – and the problem we have is that once emptied, the bags do not roll up as the largest bag is not big enough to contain/roll up the other 3 inside. The velcro fixing point does not reach to secure them – so mum has to tie them up with a ribbon!!! Maybe you could send us an extension!!!?

I am so glad I brought them. Shopping is so much easier. I open them up in the supermarket trolley and place my shopping in them as I go along. It makes it easy at the checkout as I have my items packed before I get there, and know after they have been checked I only have to repack them away in the bag they came out of. Shopping is a pleasure now.

These bags are so handy for shopping. They come in a choice of two sizes for different sized trollies. I have bought both sets so that my friend can use the shallower ones and I can use the deep ones. As my friend is 5 foot and I am 5 foot 7 inches, this is ideal because she cannot reach into the bottom of large trolleys like I am able to do so and are so easy to suspend from the sides of the trolleys – Brilliant!!

Just taken delivery of the pastel coloured bags to compliment the base coloured ones we have had for years. The best thing is that they all connect together seamlessly, so for even bigger shops we can use all the big bags together. (Tip for the guys, when I do the shopping, the wife looks at what I bring in and still sees 4 bags…………but hey, I’ve snuck in 25% more goodies!!!!)
