Trolley Bags Original are a system of four reusable shopping bags that are used to pack your shopping at the supermarket checkout. The Original set are the ideal size to fit the large, deep trolleys for the big weekly shop.
The first ever Trolley Bags is a four-bag set with half mesh bottom called the Original. Designed in vibrant bold colours; orange, green, red, and blue, which not only look very eye-catching, but they also serve a purpose. Long gone are the days where you chuck whatever comes at you first into any old bag, now you can pack your shopping organised and efficiently into colour-coded bags. You can use the blue bag for freezer products, the red for fridge items, green for cupboard items, and the orange for household products or however you see fit. Each durable bag can hold up to 15kg of shopping.

How do they work?
In one simple action the Trolley Bags system spreads out and rests on the deeper supermarket trolleys, giving you a series of open and upright bags into which you can pack and sort your shopping with both hands. Got both sizes of these. They are really handy, especially when you scan and pack. I had been really happy with them, but unfortunately on one of the bags the mesh has come away from the side seam. Maybe I put too much in, but I had expected them to last a little longer given the price of them. Also could do with a way of keeping them securely rolled up for storage, a velcro strap maybe? I have had a lot of people ask me where I got them when out shopping as they struggle to pack their plastic bags. Overall a great product but a little disappointed they didn’t last longer. Maybe mesh isn’t the best for bottom of the bag?

I’d been looking at these for a while, even before the legislation came in regarding carrier bags recently. I have used them for ‘scan as you shop’ – it was so easy to segregate and sort everything whilst I shopped – none of the old fuss of bags falling everywhere in the trolley. I’ve also used them for a speedy end of checkout pack/load up and there were again fab :-)
I did initially think they’re a bit on the pricey side, but after seeing and using them, they do appear to be really strong and sturdy but I guess only time will tell, so for now, 5 Stars!

As other reviewers already wrote about positive and helpful features, I won’t mention them – I do agree that the general idea is interesting and innovative – if I did not like the bags I would not have bought them.
Got my bags today, haven’t used them yet but two points screamed at me right away.
1) Wrong choice of courier. From now on I will never buy from any seller who uses Hermes, one of the most stupid and unsympathetic courier company. I told them in advance that I would not be home on the day of delivery and offered 3 choices: to leave the parcel by the door outside, to leave it with any neighbour or to give me an address from where I could pick the parcel up. They replied assuring me that they will deliver the package anyway. And if I wanted to tell about a safe place I had to tell it to the seller who had to contact them with this information/request. Sure enough, they delivered when I was not home and did not bother to knock next-door. I was lucky that their next try happened to be on Saturday. Please, switch to Royal mail, or to any other courier which has a pick-up point or is not afraid to listen to the addressee – I pay the delivery cost, not you!
2) Bags fastening. If you have thought of putting the hooks strip on one side of each bag and the loops strip on the other side instead of attaching two hooks or two loops on the same bag, the bags would not only connect to each other but could also be fastened with the groceries inside. Now in order to fasten the bags I will have to either make “converter” strips or use rubber bands on the ends of the sticks.
I expect that I will have to make many more adjustments and improvements as soon as I start using the bags – hopefully not too many.

Bought these a few weeks ago after seeing them on the internet, and I have used them constantly since. I love the ease of packing, moving and unpacking at home. Very roomy, strong and have even made me organised! I would advise anyone thinking of getting them to just do it, you won’t regret it.

Love these trolley bags best thing I have bought for a long time. My wife loved them so much she asked me if there was a version she could use to carry home in her Granny Sholley. Maybe the top rods could be removable or fold in some way please let me know if you are experimenting with these ideas?

I received my bags after a long wait for them and then when they arrived the orange bag number 4 has a tear in the bottom. I have tried to call the telephone number on the website which doesnt connect and email and no one has responded. I love the idea of the bags but with a hole in one they are useless. Please contact me as a matter of urgency!!

These trolley bags are so good and versatile, use them all the time for shopping, put shopping in bags straight away,, no putting on belt at checkout when you can self scan, so easy. Also used them for bedding etc, when went on caravan holiday in summer, brilliant.

I had the deep trolley bags as a present and now have the new shallow version as well. I decide which set to take and whether I need all four, depending on the shop I plan to do. Once you get used to the packing system and learn to distribute items between bags sensibly, they are brilliant!
