Trolley Bags Original are a system of four reusable shopping bags that are used to pack your shopping at the supermarket checkout. The Original set are the ideal size to fit the large, deep trolleys for the big weekly shop.
The first ever Trolley Bags is a four-bag set with half mesh bottom called the Original. Designed in vibrant bold colours; orange, green, red, and blue, which not only look very eye-catching, but they also serve a purpose. Long gone are the days where you chuck whatever comes at you first into any old bag, now you can pack your shopping organised and efficiently into colour-coded bags. You can use the blue bag for freezer products, the red for fridge items, green for cupboard items, and the orange for household products or however you see fit. Each durable bag can hold up to 15kg of shopping.

How do they work?
In one simple action the Trolley Bags system spreads out and rests on the deeper supermarket trolleys, giving you a series of open and upright bags into which you can pack and sort your shopping with both hands. The bags attach and separate via Velcro so you can transport them easily to and from the car. Watch the how-to video here.

I tried out my bags last weekend for the first time at Aldis. Where they are very small checkouts, and they throw your shopping at you with speed. These bags made life so much easier, managed to keep up with assistant . Was envy of other shoppers , with quite a few asking where I purchased. Well done for a great invention , makes tedious food shopping an easy chore.

I bought the large bags when they were first released (before the demise of free carrier bags) and they are still going strong! They are an essential part of my weekly shop, and I recently bought a set of the smaller bags for those “in between” shopping trips. I wouldn’t be without my bags – they are strong, manageable, lightweight and all round great !

These bags are well designed, and importantly sturdy. Packing is easier and, with both hands free you are able to arrange items so that they don’t get squashed and put a relatively even distribution of weight in each one. Even boxed items, usually so difficult to fit in to bags, pack with ease.
If more people had them, our queueing time in the supermarket would be shorter!

Just received my small trolly shopping bags, to match my large trolly shopping bags, there light, practical and soooo easy to use, so much better than the big bundle of bags all over the boot of my car..
