Trolley Bags Original are a system of four reusable shopping bags that are used to pack your shopping at the supermarket checkout. The Original set are the ideal size to fit the large, deep trolleys for the big weekly shop.
The first ever Trolley Bags is a four-bag set with half mesh bottom called the Original. Designed in vibrant bold colours; orange, green, red, and blue, which not only look very eye-catching, but they also serve a purpose. Long gone are the days where you chuck whatever comes at you first into any old bag, now you can pack your shopping organised and efficiently into colour-coded bags. You can use the blue bag for freezer products, the red for fridge items, green for cupboard items, and the orange for household products or however you see fit. Each durable bag can hold up to 15kg of shopping.

How do they work?
In one simple action the Trolley Bags system spreads out and rests on the deeper supermarket trolleys, giving you a series of open and upright bags into which you can pack and sort your shopping with both hands. I use these bags every time I go shopping now, they work so well with Scan as you Shop systems, so you can take the item off the shelf and pack it straight in the right bag. I find it hand to allocate the bags to different cupboards, the only shame with this is that one or two of the bags are not able to keep chilled items cold, but considering how long they realistically spend I the bag it probably doesn’t matter. The bags are so deep I’m now always using a large trolley even for a small shop.
What I have noticed while shopping is that a stream of whispers and quiet chatter follow me around the store. On occasions I’ve managed to overhear the talk behind my back as “that is so cool” “Wow they look awesome” “what are they” “where did she get those” and “no way, they are too good”

If you shop at tesco and do self scanning they are perfect the fit perfect in trolleys always having people ask where we got them just scan pack and put in car easy

Bought two sets- one for me and a set for my mum.
Unfortunately we’re both disappointed-although we’ve only had them a few weeks and treated them extremely carefully, the canvas of the bags has begun fraying and and some of the material around the poles is unravelling. The netting has also detached in some places. Such a shame because they are a brilliant idea. Gutted! :(

The Trolley Bags are a brilliant idea, however, they are too deep for the trolley we use. People who have a big family and use big trolleys would find them invaluable. A set of smaller bags would be very much appreciated.

I have started to shop at aldi but have struggled to pack at the speed they scan however this is no longer the case thanks to Trolley Bags. Bought some for my sister too and we both find them to be excellent. Well worth the money. Would love to see an insulated bag for frozen foods as an addition.

These bags are great, they really take the hassle out of packing your shopping at the checkout. I agree with other reviewers that the bars are too long, really they need to get progressively narrower from bag 1 to 4, to match the shape of the trolley. Additionally they are massive and I am now using a large trolley for my shop to accommodate the trolley bags, when really for the amount I’m buying I only need a small trolley.

Bags fit perfectly and great in combo with scan & shop options at the supermarket as you can pack as you shop. With a new baby this has really helped speed up the shop!
