How do the trolley bags work?
Our Trolley Bags offer a simple, convenient way to shop. Whether you’re doing a small top-up or a full trolley load, the connected bags rest securely on the edges of your trolley. Just place the rolled-up set at the large end and unroll them when you’re ready to pack – either as you shop with Scan as You Shop, or at the checkout. The bags open and stand upright, ready for easy, organised packing.
Pack your groceries as you go: heavier items in the smaller bags, bulky or lighter items in the larger ones. Utilise our insulated cool bag for your chilled and frozen goods. Once you’re finished, lift each bag directly into your car. After unpacking at home, simply roll them back up for compact storage – just don’t forget to keep them in your car boot for next time!

I try to put the bulky but light items in the biggest bag e.g. cereal boxes, toilet rolls so it is easier to get out of the trolly when full.My elderly Mum loved the shallow set that I bought her and they are still good – have lasted for years becuase she doesn’t over-fill them. So I have just purchased another shallow set which are much easier to get in and out of the trolly in an effort to shop fresh food, more regularly.I would like to have one of the Cool Bags because they look handy for the frozen shopping if you need to pop somewhere after your main food shop.My Tip: I bought the the 3rd set for half price during a sale which I knew about from the emailing list.

I have the full range of bags in both the car and motorhome and find them invaluable.
Bought them when they first came out and they have paid for themselves in the savings made on the plastic bag tax. I also buy them as presents for family and friends and always get favourable comments.
One down side is the trolley has to be fully emptied before the bags can spring into action, this is a nuisance on busy checkouts. Maybe supermarkets should have empty trolleys at the checkouts just for this purpose?

Not getting on very well with them. Find that unable to open bags fully in the trolley my supermarket uses. The handles become concern when leaving checkout/store that you don’t catch other people due to long overhang. This is another problem when fitting them in the car. Have to place one on back seat unless I want to crush my shopping. They’re just not right for me and have applied for refund (still awaiting).

But I purchased the Original Cool bundle as a christmas present for my mother who really wanted them, they arrived all good and everything, but when I eventually got the chance to open it I wasn’t sure the cool bad was present, my mum knew I was getting them for her so I mentioned it to her and she said it’d be in the packaging with the other trolley bags so to just leave it. By the time christmas come she probably forgot I even ordered the cool bag with it, so hasn’t mentioned anything to me and I’ve just now thought to check! I have been using the big trolley bags for ages since you first started selling them and everyone stopped me in Tesco to comment on what a good idea they were. However, being less than five feet tall, I was struggling to lift the heavy bags out of the deep trolley. I have now purchased the Express bags to use in the smaller trolley. They are so much better for me to lift and easier to pack. I self scan my groceries so once my items are packed in the bags, they don’t have to come out again till I get home. So much easier and quicker. I wouldn’t be without them and would recommend to anyone who uses supermarket trolleys.

For an OCD person like myself they are just so easy to feel organised and in control. I would have given 5 stars apart except for the fact that they do not fit like the dream the normally are with a child in the child seat of the trolley. The bags don’t fold out properly and it’s kind of tricky to put stuff in the bags. I bought the trolley bags as I had wanted them for ages. I was fed up of forgetting to take my carrier bags into the shop with me when I went shopping! I was that person carrying 50 items to my car, all to avoid buying more and more bags and knowing I had over 75 at home already!
The trolley bags are GENIUS. I used them exactly as advised and put my heavy items into the smaller bags and lighter items into the bigger bags. They held everything as they are deceptively big.
Having 7 children means my trolley is always filled at least twice a week, the trolley bags have made my life so much easier. Just using the scan as you shop and loading the bags straight into the car has made shopping much, much less of a chore.
When I’m not using the scan as you shop theres no more grabbing bags at the checkout as the cashier throws my shopping towards me, at lightening speed, after putting it through the till, I can just load it into the bags so quickly that even THEY can’t keep up!
I recommend these 100%. Very strong, washable and I can’t live without them now. I’m going to be buying some for my friends for gifts, as they truly are the bags for life!

Already had the original trolley bags, but found as we’ve got older these became slightly more difficult to lift out of the deep trolleys and get into the boot of the car. However, a solution was at hand with the Express Trolley Bags which are that bit shorter and more easy to handle and tend to be less heavy (as we put less in each of them!), particularly when we are undertaking ‘Self-Scan’. Have just received the ‘Trolley Bag – Freezer’ Bag so looking forward to using the next time we go food shopping. Highly recommend the Express Trolley Bags, but will keep the originals for the occasional big shop, although I must remember to not put to many heavy items in them (as I won’t be able to lift them!).

These bags are well designed, and importantly sturdy. Packing is easier and, with both hands free you are able to arrange items so that they don’t get squashed and put a relatively even distribution of weight in each one. Even boxed items, usually so difficult to fit in to bags, pack with ease.

I have seen the promotional video and my wife and I both think this is a fantastic idea with the one reservation that the handles on the bags overhang the sides of a trolley by quite a substantial amount and may catch against other shoppers in a crowded supermarket. Perhaps these were originally aimed at American supermarket trolleys which are probably larger. If the handles were reduced at the overhang then they would be ideal for many many shoppers.

I was thrilled to receive the email that I could order Trolley Bags in the US. They work as advertised and made it very easy to put up the groceries upon arriving home. I went with the larger Trolley size so that it wouldn’t matter if I was using a smaller one. My one caution is to load the heavier items in the smaller bag or it will be difficult to lift. I had several people ask me “are those the bags from the internet?” I was pleased to say yes and to be able to recommend the bags to them.

I was looking good quality large reusable bags and held off until the 5p bag tax was about to come into force. I opted for the Trolley Bags Original Vibe as I tend to do one large weekly shop and then a few smaller essential shops so thought I could split up the bags if need be. These are excellent quality. The netting at the bottom is robust and strong, the carry handles are super comfortable and there is a handy velcro strap to hold the bag together when rolled up. I had an issue with stitching on the green bag but Packing Sorted sent me out a replacement bag the same day and the new one is absolutely fine. I put the heavy items in the smaller bags and the lighter items in the larger bags. This makes it easy to transfer from trolley to car. I love these bags and cannot imagine how I lived without.them I use mine in the large trolleys as well as the express trolleys as I just take the two smaller bags when I am using an express trolley. I have had so many compliments and many people coming up to me asking where I purchased them. I am more than happy to sing the praises of these bags and thank you for making my shop so much easier.

was so impressed with the larger bags, I also bought the smaller set.
They’ve transformed my shopping experience in Aldi where the cashiers are hellbent on shooting the items off the end of the till. But they’re also very effective in other supermarkets. Very good quality – robust and well made. The only minor niggle on the larger bag set – there wasn’t a Velcro strap to hold the bags together when stored (there is on the smaller set). I was an early adopter so I hope that this has now been addressed?

Used my trolley bags for the first time today in aldi. Just brilliant. The cashiers are really fast and the items come flying into the trolley normally. I was able to pack the stuff really quick into each bag. It didn’t need to be neat in the bags as they accommodate the shopping when lifted up and stand up in boot. The red bag has came away at the netting and bias at bottom, the green bag netting and side bias and the orange one I lost my temper when my shopping ended up all over the car park in asda as it came away like the red bag at the bottom,so I threw it in their bin. I saw the bags on Facebook and though just another fad. I did some research and looked at the reviews and though what the hell let’s try them.
They arrived promptly given the demand. They are light weight and extremely sturdy. As the roll up they pop easily on the hook of the shopping trolley, no more bulky bags.
I use a small shopping trolley so no the best of fits but I give them a shake and they work well. They are velcroved together so easy to pull a part to lift into the car.
They are at there best when you use a large trolley. I head to Aldi once a month and it the usual story. You do not get enough time to pack and you have to do this after you have paid. This is where these bags come in to there own. I am a pretty organised person so put my goods on the belt in a set order. The bags have a good drop when in a large trolley. So I get to the till and I can pack everything into the bags, paid and off.
They roll up easily and then I just pop them in my boot for next time. Compact, light weight.
So for me the bags are brilliant and that is why they get a top rating.

Got both sizes of these. They are really handy, especially when you scan and pack. I had been really happy with them, but unfortunately on one of the bags the mesh has come away from the side seam. Maybe I put too much in, but I had expected them to last a little longer given the price of them. Also could do with a way of keeping them securely rolled up for storage, a velcro strap maybe? I have had a lot of people ask me where I got them when out shopping as they struggle to pack their plastic bags. Overall a great product but a little disappointed they didn’t last longer. Maybe mesh isn’t the best for bottom of the bag?

I’d been looking at these for a while, even before the legislation came in regarding carrier bags recently. I have used them for ‘scan as you shop’ – it was so easy to segregate and sort everything whilst I shopped – none of the old fuss of bags falling everywhere in the trolley. I’ve also used them for a speedy end of checkout pack/load up and there were again fab :-)
I did initially think they’re a bit on the pricey side, but after seeing and using them, they do appear to be really strong and sturdy but I guess only time will tell, so for now, 5 Stars!

As other reviewers already wrote about positive and helpful features, I won’t mention them – I do agree that the general idea is interesting and innovative – if I did not like the bags I would not have bought them.
Got my bags today, haven’t used them yet but two points screamed at me right away.
1) Wrong choice of courier. From now on I will never buy from any seller who uses Hermes, one of the most stupid and unsympathetic courier company. I told them in advance that I would not be home on the day of delivery and offered 3 choices: to leave the parcel by the door outside, to leave it with any neighbour or to give me an address from where I could pick the parcel up. They replied assuring me that they will deliver the package anyway. And if I wanted to tell about a safe place I had to tell it to the seller who had to contact them with this information/request. Sure enough, they delivered when I was not home and did not bother to knock next-door. I was lucky that their next try happened to be on Saturday. Please, switch to Royal mail, or to any other courier which has a pick-up point or is not afraid to listen to the addressee – I pay the delivery cost, not you!
2) Bags fastening. If you have thought of putting the hooks strip on one side of each bag and the loops strip on the other side instead of attaching two hooks or two loops on the same bag, the bags would not only connect to each other but could also be fastened with the groceries inside. Now in order to fasten the bags I will have to either make “converter” strips or use rubber bands on the ends of the sticks.
I expect that I will have to make many more adjustments and improvements as soon as I start using the bags – hopefully not too many.

PWe have just purchased these bags and have been for a test drive this morning. Before we bought these bags we should have realised that you need to lift the bags out. This is no mean feet when you realise this is nearly a meter above the trolley height. So these are rather impractical if you are vertically challenged – then you must remember that this bags must fit in the car boot – car is capacity challenged – it is a Fiat Panda, therefor the larger bags have to go on the floor in the back. Again a great idea, and if you ever do them for the less deep trolleys, then we would be very interested as they are a great idea – just impractical for us.

I love the idea of the bags but I’m not 100% happy with using them, for a couple of reasons which I hope will be taken on board for future designs.
1) The two larger bags are too deep and skinny – this causes them to be awkward to remove from the trolley and carry into the house if they contain heavy goods i.e. large carton of milk, laundry detergent etc
There’s only two of us in our household so we mostly only have to use the largest bag to fit everything in one go, which brings me on to my next point.
2) Only the large bag has the handle which allows the 4 bags to be rolled up and held onto the trolley; if we do use the smaller bags for our shop we don’t have the option to roll them up, they hang loose and get in the way.
Don’t get me wrong the bags are good and the above are small points from my personal experience but they are thoughts you might consider – two square bags which sit together lower in the trolley would be perfect (and I’d be first in the que to buy these from you).

I bought a set for my mum too and she finds the weekly shop so much easier. Lots of other shoppers have asked me about them as have a few of the shop workers on the tills. I love the concept of the trolly bag. Use them all the time when using the supermarket with scan and shop facility. I like others find the poles a little too long and agree that when the supermarket is busy they can be troublesome to others in the supermarket. My only criticism is I wish they were made with the same sturdy canvas material all over instead of having the netting at the bottom. I do find them difficult to pack into the car as they don’t stand upright once out of the trolly and can have items spilling into the car.

I find my trolley bags really handy at the checkout -they are a really good idea- having read a few previous reviews I have to agree they are too long and if you fill them to capacity then they become very heavy and cumbersome to transfer into the boot. Can’t lift them into my boot because of the length. Bars stick out and catch people. The other thing it would have been useful if there was a Velcro strap to tie round them to hold them together when not in use. I am shortening them i.e. Sewing up the bottom to make them shorter. But brilliant idea.

The only thing I would want to make them perfect would be that when they need to be stored, for one of the handles to have a little strap with Velcro to wrap through the other handle to keep them together – like an umbrella has. I really liked the idea of these bags as I do the quick check hand scanning at Waitrose and always find the packing aspect a complete nightmare. These seemed the answer to my problem and to a degree they are. They fit in the trolley very well but i do not like the netting bottom and didn’t realise they had this when i initially researched them on the website otherwise i do not think i would have bought them as i could have anticipated the problems i am now having. When the shopping is put into them the netting stretches and then become very bulky and awkward as well as heavy and then they become difficult to lift out of the trolley. I am no weakling but because of the length they stretch to with the weight of very little shopping, it is so difficult to lift them up and over to get them out of the trolley. I think it would have been more successful to have made the bags of all one material and not use the netting

As I pick up the bags the bottom sags so in effect they becoming even deeper . I love these bags, I use them for the speed packing challenge the cashiers at ALDI and LIDL set! I do my shopping as normal then use the bags to sort into cupboard/fridge/freezer foods at the check out. They are deeper than the trolly but this means you can fill them up, then when you take them out of the trolly the stuff on the top stays in the bag. They are quite long so would be tricky for a shorter person to lift out of the trolly if they were full. I fit a weeks worth of shopping for my family of four easily. I have told my friends about them and some of them have bought them too.
The only improvements I would make would be a little tag to clip a trolly token key ring onto and a freezer bag with insulation.

I use these bags every time I go shopping now, they work so well with Scan as you Shop systems, so you can take the item off the shelf and pack it straight in the right bag. I find it hand to allocate the bags to different cupboards, the only shame with this is that one or two of the bags are not able to keep chilled items cold, but considering how long they realistically spend I the bag it probably doesn’t matter. The bags are so deep I’m now always using a large trolley even for a small shop.
What I have noticed while shopping is that a stream of whispers and quiet chatter follow me around the store. On occasions I’ve managed to overhear the talk behind my back as “that is so cool” “Wow they look awesome” “what are they” “where did she get those” and “no way, they are too good”

Unfortunately we’re both disappointed-although we’ve only had them a few weeks and treated them extremely carefully, the canvas of the bags has begun fraying and and some of the material around the poles is unravelling. I agree with other reviewers that the bars are too long, really they need to get progressively narrower from bag 1 to 4, to match the shape of the trolley. Since day one of use have had at least a dozen staff and customers in the supermarkets (not a loyal brand shopper) ask where did I get them from. I suggest you send some business cards or similar with the orders as I couldn’t remember where, Sorry.Little kids love the bright colours. Only 5’2″ and in my 50s and found the exercise of getting the full bags out of the trolley and into the car a problem unless you remember not to put all the heavy stuff together in the larger bags. Velcro can stick to the netting so be careful not to let that happen as that may cause netted part to wear quicker. I would love to obtain an insulated insert for frozen food PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE?
Could you also make a really small set for the half deep small trolley that my elderly mother uses. Would make my life easier as I carry her bags in for her as we shop together weekly.

I love these – as do lots of other people who comment on them. I find them a good size for the trolley but you do have to be careful to spread the weight. Sadly the blue one has a tear in the fabric (not the mesh) – I think it needs to be stronger. Also several of the seams along the handles are coming undone so I will have to get my sewing machine out! Have you though of adding a small pocket to keep a pen & coupons in? That would be very handy!

I first heard about these bags from my mum who lives in Ireland. She uses them because carrier bags are not free there! She bought a set for my daughter and I had to get a set. I use them whether I am doing a large or small shop. I have had many people asking about them and have even had to find them on-line, on my phone in the shop, so the person could copy the email address to order them. Could do with some business cards to hand out when shopping. The handles do tend to stick out on the narrower trolleys but that’s the fault of the shop for not accommodating for a great product. I would love a set of smaller bags so when doing a quick shop could take for the smaller trolleys.

Great design and very easy to use. Speeds up packing especially if shopping in Aldi.and I have lost count of the number of shoppers who have asked me where I bought them from. The only downside is, the bags are just too deep and encourage over loading . When lifting from trolley to car and then from car to house can be heavy due to the deepness, this has caused one of the smaller bags to rip . Redesigning to slightly smaller depth should eliminate this problem but apart from this I would recommend to others .

Secondly, after I packed my shopping and tried to transfer to boot of car, they did not support the items, so everything just fell about, damaging some items. They do the job, and got plenty of compliments and people asking were I got them, although after about 3 weeks the bags all ripped at the top were the Handles are. Very disappointing

I bought these for myself and have not been disappointed. My husband was sceptical and thought the would rip. He has been proved wrong. Everywhere I shop I get asked about the. You should investigate selling them in asda you would sell loads.

I am 6ft 4″ and find them difficult to lift out of the trolleys when they are full.
The net bottom would be better if it was the same material as the rest of the bag and it had a flat base inside( cardboard or similar) so as the bag had a flat bottom.
They are very handy and hold a large amount of goods. Well worth the investment.

Really enjoying using my bags. Particularly good when I’m shopping with my toddler as it really cuts down on packing time. Also really useful here in Wales, where we have to pay for shopping bags- so I never forget to take them out.
They are lasting well- no rips or tears, even though I’m not exactly gentle with them and I also really fill them to their limit.
All in all really pleased with my purchase.

Have used the bags on a regular basis.
I have found that when we fill them, they are too deep for the shallow trolleys and the goods tip over. With only two of us a shallow version would be great.
Keeping them rolled up for use is also a design fault as they open up all over the car.
We always get looks at the checkout, so overall a happy customer :)

I’m always stopped when I’m shopping with my trolley bags by other customers and so assistants alike. The checkout assustants like them as i can move through the till so quickly, they have halved my packing time!
My husband couldn’t believe how much easier it was using trolley bags on one of the rate times he accompanied me shopping. I am only 5ft2 and find it tricky lifting the largest bag out of the trolley but as I use that one for lighter items like cereal boxes is not a big problem.
If definitely recommend trolley bags and I’m most surprised that the main supermarkets haven’t bought branded ones to sell in their own stores (they’re missing a trick)

Great product which makes packing at checkout very easy . Get lots comments on them and asked where can get them .
Would like a clip or loop to keep them rolled up when not in use .
Can be hard to lift the largest one out trolley always pack it with light items .

What a great idea. I saw these in another customer’s trolley and I asked them where they got them from and I just had to have them. They are so easy to use and fold away to almost nothing which means I no longer need a cupboard just for my ‘bags for life’ I definitely would recommend them to anyone

After my initial review of this product – titled ‘Disappointing’ which you can see below – I need to apologise and set the record straight. After using them now for about a month I have nothing but praise. So many people comment on what a fabulous idea they are – especially here in Scotland where, unlike other parts of the UK – all retailers are now forced by law to charge for plastic carrier bags. Trolley Bags are the perfect solution to this. In many cases we just take one of the bags into the store. You don’t always need to take the whole set and this is very useful. Much better than carrying loads of old used and crumpled plastic bags around. One thing I would like to see, however, would be a set of Trolley Bags made to fit the smaller shopping trolleys specifically as it’s sometimes a pain trundling around one of the large trolleys every time. Although, having said that, you can use the current ones in the smaller trolleys but it’s not as neat a solution. So, well done on an excellent product and apologies for the earlier negative review. I don’t say this often but, I was totally wrong! :)

I bought two of these for Christmas presents, just back from hols to the delivery and I feel they are too big. Tried to contact Trolley bags on the two telephone numbers displayed on the website to request a refund and return and the 0300 is unobtainable and no-one answers the mobile.
Along with that there are no company details on the website and no address. Very disappointing!

Haven’t used them yet as I just received them today. However there are a couple of points I wanted to make. Firstly they look nothing like the pictures on the website. The bags are now made of black mesh and are not solid and coloured as in the pictures. Only the tops are coloured. To meet they look awful compared to the web images but I will see how they are when I use them. Secondly the company to ages to fulfil my order and on two separate occasions I got emails telling me that the promised delivery dates were not going to be met. Not very professional or reassuring. One thing I do suspect is that they won’t public this review on their website as all of the others are five star with people saying how good the product is.

I have had these for a few months now, and they are fantastic. I always get asked where I got them from and I get complimented by strangers for being so organised!
Makes separating your shopping so easy, the children love helping me “Put the chilled things in the blue bag” etc etc..The bags themselves are SO sturdy and have plenty of room in them for a whole shop. I am never concerned that the weight will cause the bags to give way.

Fantastic product, every time I’m at the supermarket someone will ask me where I got them, I’m always happy to pass on your details. The bags are super strong and take so much, and there’s no worry or concern about them giving way.
On a different note, the customer service I got from Packing Sorted was incredible, I had a slight concern about something and I emailed them late one evening, expecting to hear back the next day. I got a reply, and more importantly a resolution, within 30 minutes! You wouldn’t get this from any other online retailer. Cannot fault this company and this product. Keep up the excellent work guys! 10/10!

These have to be (by far) the most used item in our home. Super handy to have! Trolley bags have made my endless trips to the supermarket so much quicker and easier. Scan and shop can be done in no time at all. Whoever does the food shopping in your home needs these… buy them a set now!

These bags are the best thing I have bought in years. Whoever thought of them needs a medal, every woman needs them. They are strong, roomy & so quick to pack. Shaped to fit & slide in a large trolley, starting with No.1 at the narrow end, push to one end while you shop then slide across when you are ready to fill & they are open ready for you to quickly fill. No scrabbling to open bags. Absolutely brilliant. Good Xmas Present.
