How do they work?
In one simple action the Trolley Bags system spreads out and rests on the deeper supermarket trolleys, giving you a series of open and upright bags into which you can pack and sort your shopping with both hands. The bags attach and separate via Velcro so you can transport them easily to and from the car. Watch the how-to video here.

How to Wash
Remove the poles, machine wash on cold and air dry.

Overall they are useful as I can get my shopping into these bags quicker than the people on the till in Aldi and Lidl can push stuff off the end of the till onto the floor, however there are a few negatives that people should be mindful of that make these less practical.
1. The are longer than a standard UK trolley so you pack everything nicely but as soon as you pick up the bag everything falls about and crushes other items because the bottom section of the netting section stretches down as you pull the bag up.
2. The bags are so long that when I carry the bags from the car they drag along the floor! I´m average female height of 5´5″ and usually where small heels.
3. The bags don’t stay open in the trolley unless the trolley has a hook at the other end to hold the handle of the blue bag.
4. The bags don’t fit in my car boot without taking the plastic poles out, and you can’t push them along your boot to move them like with other types of bags
5. Other canvas type bags are more structured so they keep their shape and your shopping as you organised it in the bag. These bags allow everything to fall to the sides when you put it in the car so you always take up all the floor space rather than the shopping staying built up in the bag so you can’t fit anything else in the boot next to the bags as you can with the more structured canvas bags.
Overall I like the idea of these trolley bags, but I would prefer them to share a lot more design features with more structured bags to make them easier to use.

I bought the larger bags first which are perfect for that big shop. Then i bought two box bags with the freezer bag again worth every penny so easy to use. Then i decided to get the smaller trolly bags when im only doing a small shop with the other box bag so ive got a different sizes for any sort of shopping im doing & not a single plastic bag in sight.

I’ve had the set of deep bags since they first came out. I try to put the bulky but light items in the biggest bag e.g. cereal boxes, toilet rolls so it is easier to get out of the trolly when full.
My elderly Mum loved the shallow set that I bought her and they are still good – have lasted for years becuase she doesn’t over-fill them. So I have just purchased another shallow set which are much easier to get in and out of the trolly in an effort to shop fresh food, more regularly.
I would like to have one of the Cool Bags because they look handy for the frozen shopping if you need to pop somewhere after your main food shop.
My Tip: I bought the the 3rd set for half price during a sale which I knew about from the emailing list.

I use the trolley bags for scan as you shop – so easy to sort things logically into bags as you pick them up. They are also great in Aldi where you can have all the bags open and ready to sort things into as they come through the till at speed. The bags are so easy to roll up and store in the car. I have just purchased the extra bag to hang on the front of the trolley for those weeks when a bigger shopping trip is needed. Thoroughly recommended.

So much quicker getting through the checkout! And only 4 bags to carry into the house as they hold so much more than standard bags. Only niggle is on the set of bags I bought for my mum (shallower ones – for the smaller trolleys) – and the problem we have is that once emptied, the bags do not roll up as the largest bag is not big enough to contain/roll up the other 3 inside. The velcro fixing point does not reach to secure them – so mum has to tie them up with a ribbon!!! Maybe you could send us an extension!!!?

These bags are so handy for shopping. They come in a choice of two sizes for different sized trollies. I have bought both sets so that my friend can use the shallower ones and I can use the deep ones. As my friend is 5 foot and I am 5 foot 7 inches, this is ideal because she cannot reach into the bottom of large trolleys like I am able to do so and are so easy to suspend from the sides of the trolleys – Brilliant!!

After running into extreme problems at a certain low priced stores checkouts I decided I needed to do something. I was fed up with smashed biscuits, squashed loaves and feeling as though I had to duck as things were thrown at me.
I purchased some Trolley bags in the hope it would make life easier, well it sure helped.
My packing was speedily transferred into the various bags and seamed to disappear in an instant. the rods holding the bags up and open were great.
I did find that the bags where a bit big for the trolley space available and they expanded at the bottom so I almost only needed 3 out of the 4.
I thought there was going to be a problem getting them into the car as the rod’s seem very wide, this was managed with a bit of jiggling.
Overall the bags are great, I think I will just need to work out how to use them best for my shopping.
The only niggle is the long rods in them make fitting all of the shopping in the car a bit of a puzzle.
I would recommend these to people having trouble with packing and I like that they are available for shallow trolley’s also, which is very useful.

I love my new pastel coloured packing bags. I got admiring looks from other shoppers and the young guy on the till in Lidl commented how cool they were! I even managed to keep pace with the till operator in Lidl which i can never normally do if using carrier bags. Great product!

Initially I bought the deep trolley bags – and these are fantastic but I have a bad back due to osteoporosis and for the most part only now use a shallow trolley at the supermarket. I have therefore more recently also bought a set of shallow trolley bags and they are fab-u-lous – they make the whole shopping experience so much simpler and anything which makes the endless series of supermarket trips a bit easier is a hit with me. My only suggestion would be to ask for some different colours – perhaps red and purple and pink (I know, a bit girly) but there you go. Well done – a great invention……

I absolutely love my trolley bags. They are the best things to go shopping with. I have had so many people asking where I got them from and since a lot of people have brought them. The only problem is I went out with them this morning did a shop for my fridge and when I packed and took them to the car when I lifted my orange bad the handle inside snapped and my shopping went everywhere. But was truly amazed.
I now rave about them to everyone.
Simple rules load heavy items in small bags and pack sensibly.
If you put bread in and cans on top then never going to work! With any bag.
My first thought was four bags won’t do all my shopping ( I always have at least ten bags.
But the bags are huge and now can fit all my shopping in and gave room.
If your still considering these then my advice is buy them you will wonder how you ever managed without them X
Just wish a small pocket was on one bag for purse and car keys.

The trolley bags are fantastic I bought myself and my daughter the bigger trolley bags which I think are very good for families however there is only my husband and myself at home and my daughter and her son at her own home so on reflection I should have bought the smaller version of the trolley bags. BUT really struggle with the weight of the bags once filled (normal sized bags). So a slight design flaw, you’re basically putting 3 times as much weight in one bag as you would normally. This makes moving then into the car and then into the house a struggle. Even when trying to distribute weight (tins, bottles, veg) evenly, can still be way too heavy.

Just used them for the first time today. Bags are great sizes, and I was easily able to fit my weekly shop (for a family of 5) into them with room to spare. I tried to distribute the weight as evenly as possible, and as a result they weren’t too heavy to take in and out of the car, and up to my apartment. The only thing that could improve them, would be an additional “cold” bag, for frozen items. I have one of these, and in future I will bring this into the shop with me in addition to the trolley bags.

I ordered these after seeing them reviewed in a newspaper. They were a while coming due to demand, but I was kept informed by the company.
The bags are fab, and make putting the shopping into the trolly so much easier. My friends have bought them since, and are just as pleased.
The only thing I find negative about them is the poles which hold them on the trolley are wide (which I know is needed to keep them open across the trolley) make it harder to fit them in my (small) car boot, so I end up putting a couple of bags on the back seat. But, I would not change them for other bags.

Ordered 22 Oct & Finally arrived 12 Nov. After sending 2 emails with no response I called to be told that the 9 BAGS!!! had been lost by the courier! They would be sent by next day post. Again another call made as bags hadn’t arrived to be told the original order wasn’t even sent out so that was a blatant lie! and sorry but bags missed the courier so it would be sent out the following day. I finally have recd them. Customers service shocking and 9 unhappy customers! Would not recommend!!!

So our main supermarket is and has been ALDI for about 2 years now.
Used to HATE faffing around at the end of the shop with the juggling act of picking and packing in that tiny little space at the end of the counter…it was like shop, then trolley, then onto the checkout belt to get scanned and then dumped back in the trolley to THEN take to the packing area..
Too much messing around, time wasted and frustration.
Their only flaw of having NO space to collect your groceries to bag them has now been resolved by these wonderful trolley bags.
Had the trolley bag set for a number of months now and it saves both time and (over long term) money too.
Now it’s shop, put in trolley, put on checkout conveyor belt and….STRAIGHT INTO BAGS!

I ordered my Trolley Bags Original last week and they arrived within three days of ordering.
I used them for the first time today to Shop as You Scan in Tesco.
So many people were looking at my trolley, and as I left the shop someone coming in stopped me and asked me about them.
I did a good sales pitch for your company (and the invoice is in the post!) and gave your website address. As another reviewer mentioned, they would fly off the shelves if demonstrated in supermarkets, and I would be happy to act as a demonstrator as I love them.
It made shopping and packing much easier and simpler. Managed to get all four into the boot of my car with no problems, just folded the tops over, and I’ve got a small boot space.

So my girlfriend found these a few weeks ago, and asked me to buy these for her. I was a little reluctant to being with as with most things like these I thought they would be poorly made and only get used once or twice before getting binned.
So I have been in my new house for over a month now and have used these on many occasions and I have to say these are the best things I have bought.
Easy to use, and makes the hassle of shopping and packing so much easier and faster.
If you shop at Aldi or Lidl, or even do your shopping with the scanners at Tesco then these are the bags for you.
Because there are four different bags you actually sort your shopping at the shops heavy items in the first two smaller bags, like tins and bottles, which I normally keep together, then a bag for fruits and things then the larger fridge and freezer items in the two bigger bags.
So when you get home you just grab the bag and go to the location and unload it all.
If you shop at say Lidl or Aldi then I can not express how much you need these bags. When you get to the check out you simply put the bags in the trolley and as the cashier fires the items through the till you just put them in the bag. Much better than having to pack their plastic bags after they have rushed the goods through the til.
Buy these bags!!!!! You need these in your life.

First time using them for a big shop the largest one had a tear in it. I emailed the company asking for it to be replaced before it got worse and I’m still waiting for a response.

I bought these,thinking they would be the perfect shopping bag! Very disappointed! Too long and too heavy if you fill up the bag….can’t lift them out of the boot without all the shopping collapsing in a heap in the bottom of the bag, making it too awkward, resulting in it being dragged along the ground! Not practical when too much shopping is put in them, the stringy bag stretches with the weight, causing the bag to be dragged rather being lifted!!! Too long in length for anyone under 6′. Not worth the money!!!!

Firstly I get a lot of attention when using these bags and have passed on the details for people to order them.
These bags are a great idea and I do like them.
However…
I am somewhat concerned about their long term durability though.
Already some of the bag pole handles have either broken through the fabric or the fabric has unstitched.
The handles do present a problem when loading your car as they are quite long and sometimes difficult to organise in a medium hatchback car. Maybe a collapsible or flexible pole would sort this issue.
I think I would prefer the bags to have less netting in the bottom as they seem to stretch considerably when filled with groceries particularly the largest bag. Which can get very heavy if you don’t watch what you put in it.
When rolling them up the velcro strip is not always easy to stick so they are often unrolled. I think a larger strip would sort this out.
I see you have a new shallower bag, I assume this has the same issues but less netting so less stretching?
Would I recommend them? short answer is YES!, However I would just like them to be a bit more refined as not sure of their longevity.

I bought a set of bags for myself, sister and mother. We had our first trial yesterday and really loved them. Combined with a certain shops ‘scan and go’ it makes shopping and the dreaded loading onto belts and repacking and getting to the car so much easier. We posted photos of our shopping experience on Facebook and have lots of requests from friends about them so the link has been posted. The certain shop we used for our shopping has also contacted my sister about them. They’re the future!

Just following up my previous review and reading some of the other comments, yes it would be nice if there was a version that was all canvas bags as opposed to the netting, I can see why netting was used (allowing the bags to be used in different depth trollies) but they would sit better while in the boot of the car.
Length of the poles cant be really changed, unless they were extendable like a telescope, but being careful when pushing round the supper market isn’t that hard.

I don’t normally do reviews, but felt that these bags deserved a mention…!
I have just road tested them in my local Tesco supermarket, they fit both sizes of trolley well.
Being a single person I found I didn’t need to use the large ‘Orange’ bag, so just used the other three, like some of the other comments it would be good to have the velcro straps on each bag, so if using fewer than 4 you can still roll them up and secure them together.
They caused quite an impact in the store with people coming up to me and asking where to get them (directed them to the UK website), It would be great to see them being demonstrated in store as I;m sure shopper would impulse buy…!
Back to the bags…….It would also be great if one could buy extra individual bags or even a combination of sizes rather than the supplied 4 as mentioned above being on ones own the bigger bag isn’t used, but at times the smallest one may be too small, but in general not a show stopper.
In my store I use the scan as you go and pack, so these bags are ideal to use from the moment you enter the store, they are set up in the trolley and filled as you go…!
All in all from my initial use and trial they are really great and would recommend others to get them in your trolley and be ahead of the up and coming trend…!

Love these.once you get the hang of using smaller ones for heavy and delicate goods and big ones for lighter bulky stuff they are so useful.makes the chore of getting through check out so much quicker and easier, and you are the envy of everyone else in the queue!i tend to put bigger ones when full behind front seats on floor of car to keep them upright.

this is a wonderful idea and really appeals to me. However, I live in London, and like many people here, I don’t own a car and can walk to the supermarket in less than 10 minutes. It would be great to see a set of four shallower bags without the net bottoms that can be carried home by myself and my husband (two similar sized bags each). And one of the bags insulated for frozen food please!

I only use mine occasionally now as I’m 5ft 6in and find these bags too deep to carry especially when they contain heavy objects. I don’t see the purpose of the mesh bottoms they just make the bags unstable in the car. The poles are too long to put all four bags in the boot and when empty they do need a strap to keep them rolled up. Maybe the new design should include more tasteful colours.

What a simple yet excellent product , we use scan and shop at tesco most the time and these are absolutely ideal for this as well as just packing your shopping at the checkout , the poles can be a slight nuisance but for different size trolleys you need the capability to fit all trolleys and that is the only negative I could say apart from every man , woman and child looking then asking where they are from. My wife and myself actually got stopped by the security guard at tesco for what we thought was a random check bu no his conversation was “I’ve seen you with them bags for a few weeks now where do you get them they are bloody brilliant”

These have been a great purchase and saves so much time and hassle at the checkout. I like some do find the poles a little long but I guess that’s to fit different sized trollies. A Velcro strap for when the bags are not in use and rolled up would be handy but I have bought one separately and sewn it on. Apart from these small issues I have the bags all worked out for every shop, the smaller bags for the heavy items and the big bag for light stuff and bulky stuff like crisps and bread etc.

Makes packing at the checkout so much easier and quicker. However when transferring to the boot of my car the support bars take up a lot of room and the bags tend to collapse therefore not protecting the shopping.

These bags are brilliant especially when using ‘scan & shop’. I get loads of positive comments about them. The only criticism is the bars would be better if the shortened with the trolley, as they poke ok at the front of the trolley.

Unfortunately, the trolley bags supplied were of poor quality and damaged. More worryingly, the design is flawed. Buy these if you wish but I think they will have a limited life before they start to show the poor design and iffy materials. I will say the supplier was quick to reimburse me the full cost but kept suggesting the issues were with the delivery company. Utter tosh. The box they arrived in was perfect with no indications of mis-handling. The bags were well wrapped and protected but were already damaged prior to packaging. Overall, not really worth a single star.

Really do love my trolley bags and have looks of envy when using them and many people asked me where I got them – easy to pack away all fridge stuff in one, cupboard in the other, fruit/veg separate etc. The only slight downfall is that I think the bags are too deep

Great bags loving them some additional touches would be good like a small white strip on each bag at the top to label what gose in ie tins, general ect…. and a valcro strip to hold the bags rolled up then I think it would be perfect. But thanks made my shopping fun and easy.

We’re very happy with the bags. They’re easy to pack and lift from the trolley to the car. Perhaps some type of insert for keeping frozen food cool would be a great addition in future.

Having read some of the other reviews I must agree that the handles are a bit too long and do jut out, also the two largest bags are much too deep and are likely to be Hernia Causing if lifted when full.
I would like to see an insulated bag , nothing too elaborate, possibly No.1 size for carrying cold and frozen products and bottles / containers of milk.
We are most pleased with our trolley bags, but No.3 is the largest we are likely to use, the No.4 requires a pack horse to carry it , even when half full.

I love the idea of these bags and they certainly made shopping at Aldi’s much simpler and quicker. However like a lot of people have said I also find them a little too deep. They are also difficult to pack in an orderly fashion as the mesh sides don’t hold your shopping neatly in place. One last little annoying factor is the material they are made of rips quite easily, as I discovered on my first outing with them when the poles at the top of one of the bags caught my front door and ripped.

These bags make our shopping so much easier. They are very deep as other people have commented but I find it isn’t necessary to fill them as they hold so much. Also it’s sensible to put the heavier things in the smallest bag. I wouldn’t be without them now. I love the bright colours and we have had several comments asking about them from other shoppers.

Great bags. It takes me longer at the moment due to people asking me where I got them from.
It’s great no more repetitive bending over trolley and lifting heavy things.
Scan item, put in the trolley bag, load into the car, unload from car and put in cupboard. What could be better.
Colour coded makes it easier too.

Concept is great, build quality is great, ease of packing is great. However:
1) They are rather too big to be carried easily when full as they are long enough to drag on the ground (no, I’m not short)
2) They are rather too big to fill up as they are ridiculously heavy to lift
3) The support bars stick out rather a long way and I get dirty looks from people who have to move out of my way when shopping.
I would love to see a shallower version and also ones with retractable or folding support bars.

Love the idea and love my bags. I always use them when I shop at Tesco because they have the self-scanning system as I believe Waitrose also do. However, when I go to other supermarkets that don’t have that system, I don’t use the bags as I still need to unload everything to be scanned and re-pack. If only the other supermarkets would catch up.

I totally agree with Chris Waters. They are great and a lot of other shoppers give positive comments. However, they seem to be aimed for the U.S. market, where the trolleys are massive and where the people must be stronger as you can load lots and lots of shopping in it. Heavy! Unless you load them up with toilet paper, kitchen towels, tissues and other light stuff.
If they could be customised for the UK (and mainland Europe?) and customise the depth to the trolley depth, then they are ideal!

Fantasic concept makes shopping in Aldi much quicker and the staff were inpressed with them too… as I can pack and keep up with them:) They can get very heavy when packed, key is to organise shopping when loading on conveyor belt. Would and do recommend to others.

Strongly constructed, although one of my bags has a little snag in the mesh part but so far hasnt caused an issue.
These bags hold an amazing amount of shopping in them and can be crammed with all sorts of things. The only thing I would say is that fully stocked, they take up a lot of space in a boot and if you have a parcel shelf / tailgate then sometimes they would need to be slanted on their side. Thats more a design issue with the cars shallow bootspace however :)
Also a way of keeping them all together in the boot when not in use – the velcro tabs are fine for the top of the bags but if we could roll them up and then have a strap with either a velcro fastener or a pop button like you get on the bottom of an umbrella then that would be excellent. Also possibly an option to remove the bars from inside the bags so they can be put in the washing machine.
There is one other down side though – EVERY time I use them somebody stops and asks where you can get them – a nice clearer print of the UK website on them would go a long way :) Stopping to explain them to people makes my shopping expedition twice as long now lol.
I should be on commission due to the number of people who have asked me for the details and then ordered them – should maybe just buy all my friends the bags for xmas. Presents Sorted :)

After buying my set of trolley bags, I couldn’t wait to do my next monthly shop. My local supermarket does not do scan as you shop, so I shop in trolley as usual, on reaching check out I load all my shopping onto the belt, then put the trolley bag into trolley. The checkout operator scans my shopping, I put shopping into the allotted bags, always asked where I got my bags from. I shop for five people for one month and manage to get everything in. When I reach the car they are so easy to separate and transfer to boot. I would also be interested in freezer bags but smaller. Best bags ever bought well worth the money.

Like many other reviewers I like my Trolley Bags but also find the same problems. Being 5’2″ and well in my sixties I find when full, the bags are too long and heavy to lift out of the trolley into the car. Would love a shorter set, starting with the blue one as the longest. An idea to be considered?? But still like my Trolley Bags!

They are the best thing I have bought and I always get asked where I get them from every week, I won’t go shopping without them now. The only issue is the Orange bag has ripped slightly at the top so can’t wait for them to come into the shops so I can get another one. Some with different designes would be a nice touch.

So I need to order some more for myself, but would love it if you could make them for the smaller trolleys, as I’d prefer that. A very good product that makes packing your shopping very easy. Will continue to use them. However, the small blue bag sustained a rip quite early on from a box being placed inside it.
Also – to make it easier to store the bags when not in use, a small Velcro strap or button could be fitted to stop the bags from unrolling when being stored.

The concept is great but for me personally I find the bags too long/deep and therefore a little unwieldy as I struggle to carry them out of the car, so I don’t really use them, my daughter doesn’t use hers either for this reason. I would personally prefer shallower bags.
On another note the customer service has been excellent. One of the bags ripped and it was replaced immediately.

They are fantastic sooo very happy.. Using the small blue for bread and soft items then the red for veg ect the green for frozen and the yellow for the rest it all works well… If they get a bit full give them a pull up and you get more above the barrow to fill… I recommend them to everyone… Thank you a very happy customer

I just love my trolley bags ….great invention !, the only down side is they are really deep when trying to lift out of trolley when filled and i noticed that one of the bags has a small tear in the netted area other than that they are fab. Everyone asks me where i got them and i tell them ..proudly. You would do well to start selling them in asda everyone loves them …including the staff …. Maybe a velcro loop, to keep the bags together when not in use, would be helpful.

Got these for Mother’s Day they are fantastic you just have to learn how to pack them as to make them not to heavy. They would be great if they had some fold up wheels on so I didn’t have to carry them as I have a bad back . If this idea and my wheelie bag could be put together they would be perfect. ????????????????

I love my bags and get so many comments when I go shopping with them. It’s a nice feeling to be able to beat the checkout and have it all bagged up before paying. I have a 3 year old so any time saving at the checkout is a bonus. The customer service is second to none and would recommend these to anyone who goes shopping!
