In the past 15 months, millions of people have had their holidays and mini-breaks put on hold or just outright cancelled because of Coronavirus. It’s been a tough time for businesses across all sectors, but in particular, the UK travel and tourism industry has taken a massive hit! But with restrictions being close to completely lifting, it’s time to do what we can to make a difference and help the industry recover. Currently, in England (Restrictions differ from country to country, if you’re outside of England please check your government’s restrictions) there are no longer any restrictions on leaving England to travel internationally, however, to protect public health in the UK and the vaccine rollout, you should not travel to countries or territories on the red or amber lists.
However, with all the required tests and potential quarantining, travelling abroad is still not feasible for a lot of us. But that doesn’t mean we’re not still itching for a holiday! So, we’ve put together a comprehensive list of brilliant ideas for a UK staycation this Summer 2021. From coastal breaks to games in the garden, we guarantee to have you returning to work feeling revitalised and well-rested! All without the airport rush and stale peanuts. It’s a win-win!
